It is produced throughout the country, mostly in the Entre Douro e Minho, Trás-os-Montes, Beira Interior, Beira Litoral, Oeste, Ribatejo, Península de Setúbal e Costa Alentejana areas. With sun all year round, nutritious soil and an Atlantic climate, new potatoes reach you soon after being harvested. That means they are not stored for long periods. With a lower ecological footprint, they are an ally of the environment.

Promotion of Miss Tata internationally is supported by Portugal 2020, within the scope of the Competitiveness and Internationalisation Operational Programme.
